Sarah is learning about the new features in Adobe Creative Suite CS6, including the blur effects in Photoshop, creating patterns in Illustrator, and editing content in Flash. She is also learning how to use create layouts in InDesign and create books in iBooks Author. To boost her knowledge of graphic design, she has been reading books like "The Grid." Sarah is also exploring color theory in "Color and Light: A Guide to for the Realistic Painter," by James Gurney. She is excited to meet James at the upcoming AMI Conference in Toronto.
Exploring Different Working Styles
Sarah is painting an image of porcine intestinal anatomy purely in Photoshop. The image is purely digital and no graphite sketches were used. This project will allow her to use some of her new-found knowledge of Photoshop CS6.
